A Bit of Info
Granville, Massachusetts is a small town located in Hampden County. It is one of the many hill towns in Western Massachusetts. Granville is accessible from many towns such as Westfield, MA, Southwick, MA, Blandford, MA, Tolland, MA, Hartland, CT, East Hartland, CT, and Granby, CT if anyone ever wants to get out of their city or town and explore. With only 1,566 residents, as of the 2010 census, the town has a very tight knit community. But just because it is small in population doesn't mean it is small in space. With 43 square miles, it is one of the bigger hill towns.
This rural town is home to many family-owned farms, but that is not all Granville is known for. There are many great finds just by driving on Route 57 or Route 189. You can find some beautiful spots to explore nature and go for a hike, or just park your car on the side of the road and take in the scenic view. Plus if you get hungry, you can always get a tasty treat at the Gran-Val Scoop.
On your travels to Granville you may see some pretty cool things besides nature and food that you may also want to take in and take pictures of. There are many old buildings throughout the town which would be a great way to gain a bit of knowledge about Granville's history and pin-point what parts of the town you have visited. Below you can see some pictures of those buildings and maybe a breathtaking picture of a scenic landscape or two!
