Granville Water Works

The beautiful scenery at the Granville Waterworks

The Granville Water Works is more of a hidden secret. Located right along one of the busier roads in Granville (Old Westfield Road) is a small pull off and gate. To the average person this may be a quick place to stop, but to the local Granvillian this is a place to go for a relaxing stroll with your friends or family. The Granville Water Works is actually the location of a man-made reservoir with a clear trail that wraps along the side of it. Not only will you get a nice workout with a trail that can take about an hour and a half to walk, but along the way you can see the beautiful blue water, squirrels climbing tall trees, and hear the chirping songs of the birds. It's a great way to get in a quick nature escape!
