Do You Scream For Ice Cream?

On a family-owned farm in 1991, an ice cream business was born. Located on Route 189 just north of the Connecticut border, a businesswoman needed to keep her dairy farm running and decided to do it with a scoop or two of delicious, homemade ice cream. They have been going strong ever since, even to the point of expanding into a whole new building. They pride themselves on making their ice cream right from their business and selecting the finest, local ingredients for you to taste. Even though they are a seasonal shop, you can always stop by and pick up a quart or half gallon to fulfill your yearly cravings. Plus on your visit, don't forget to walk around the land and feed the animals. They have goats, cows, pigs, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, you name it! The Gran-Val Scoop is a great place to grab a quick and tasty treat and to appreciate the farm-lifestyle that Granville was built on.
